After 7 years of Xanax use and large(3mg) daily use, I started quitting in June 2016. It has been OK and I am becoming my own self after 11 months. I am down to 1/4 mg 2X @day. I will stop entirely next month.
Thank you for the information and support. I finally resume life as I knew it before Xanax
It is as if I have been hitting myself on the head with a big hammer then stopped. It is exhilarating.
