 Rehab for Any Budget

There are Percocet rehab programs that fit into any budget. There are even free Percocet rehab programs for low-income individuals. Percocet rehab programs in private luxury institutions, on the other hand, can cost as much as a few thousand dollars each day.

The cost of Percocet rehab is also influenced by the type and length of treatment. Outpatient treatment is generally a more economical solution to inpatient rehab, which can be quite expensive. Additionally, the longer a person is in treatment, the higher the cost of Percocet rehab.

Average Cost

A few studies have been conducted for the purposes of calculating the average cost of Percocet rehab, as well as other types of addiction rehab. For example, St. Jude Retreats’ annual 2011 study found that the average price for a day in inpatient rehab was around $667. A 2011 Open Minds Consulting survey found that a 28-day inpatient addiction rehab was $19,067 on average, and 10 weeks of outpatient addiction rehab was $6,863.

In our experience, we have found the main costs of rehab to break down like this:

Detox: $750-1,000 per day.

Inpatient rehab: Average of $20,000 per treatment episode of 28 days.

Outpatient rehab: Average of $6,000 per treatment episode of 10-12 weeks.

Psychotherapy or counseling: From free to $150 per hour.

According to an extensive study performed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), though, the average cost of all residential rehab programs in the United States in the early 2000’s was $3,132. Non-methadone outpatient rehab had an average cost of $1,169.

As you can see, average costs vary and fluctuate with time. The cost of Percocet rehab will often be covered fully or partially using a number of different resources. Many health insurance plans cover part of the cost of treatment, for instance. A rehab facility may also offer reduced fees based on income.

Factors That Influence Cost

  1. Amenities included in the recovery program such as gourmet meals, fitness, yoga classes, golf course outings, highly influence the cost of the recovery program.
  2. Program length. Short-term programs (28 DAYS) usually include basic services that cost less than long-term programs (3 MONTHS or longer).
  3. Rehab location. If the rehab facility is located in a desirable, secluded area such as a private coastline or in the mountains expect the cost to be higher compared to rehabs which are located in a less natural setting.
  4. Type of rehab program. Each drug rehab facility has different programs which are specially aimed at the treatment of different substance abuses. Short term programs, in-patient programs, residential and after care programs all have different costs. Make sure to speak with the facility and inform yourself about the charges of each type of program and choose the one according to your budget.

What Is Rehab Like?

Percocet rehab is like a combination of continuing education classes, group therapy, and summer camp. There are two main types of Percocet rehab – outpatient and inpatient rehab.

Outpatient Percocet rehab requires patients to attend weekly mental health counseling and education sessions. These sessions often help people understand the nature of addiction, their personal defense mechanisms, and unhealthy relationships. Then, treatment aims to replace negative patterns with positive ones. Recovering people who are also diagnosed with chronic pain will also usually be helped by learning pain management techniques. Outpatient programs can last from several weeks to several years, depending on the severity of the addiction and whether or not the modality is used to supplement inpatient rehab.

Inpatient Percocet rehab is a much more intensive type of treatment. Individuals in inpatient facilities are required to reside in the treatment facility with others who are in addiction treatment. During this time, daily counseling and group therapy sessions are used to help recovering addicts learn coping mechanisms to overcome their addictions. Traditionally, inpatient rehab takes roughly a month to complete; more intensive long-term inpatient rehab programs, however, can take three to twelve months to complete.

Financial Resources

Addiction treatment can be expensive, but it is good investment in the long run. Here are some ideas about which resources to use to pay for a suitable program. There are a few ways that you can go about financing rehab and make treatment more affordable, regardless of whether you have insurance or not.

  1. Use money from your personal savings. Digging into savings is one of the quickest and easiest ways to go about financing rehab. You can withdraw money from savings and similar accounts, such as money markets. If you have retirement accounts or life insurance policies, you can use the money from there as well.
  2. Make a payment agreement with the rehab facility. Treatment centers oftentimes help people who can’t afford treatment. They may offer sliding scale fees, for instance, which are based on your income. You might also be able to work out financing or payment arrangements, which will make it easier to pay a large rehab bill.
  3. Raise money for treatment from donations. Crowdfunding websites such as indiegogo and gofundme can be of great help for all those who don’t have money to pay for treatment. A quick campaign will help you raise the money for treatment. Ask your friends to spread the word and your financial problems will be solved.
